Build Partnership Information
Habitat for Humanity of York County is thankful for the many groups throughout our community that are interested in partnering with us to build homes, communities and hope. A key aspect in achieving our mission is the funding and volunteer support that we receive from our build partners toward the construction or preservation of homes. Build partnerships are available at a variety of levels and it is requested that these donations be submitted by the midpoint of the construction schedule for your build. We will work with your group to determine what partnership level is most appropriate according to your group’s philanthropic needs, available resources and volunteer support.
Keller Williams for the $12,000 donation for #RedDay! 90+ volunteers and 8 home repair sites!
The number of volunteer registration spots for each workday will be determined by the HFHYC Construction Manager in accordance with the project tasks for the given workday. All workers should be at least 16 years old. Group Leaders should arrive by 8:00AM with group members arriving by 8:15AM. Each workday will begin with an optional prayer or devotion. We ask that lunch be provided by the volunteer group and should be available at 11:30AM. Please provide an additional 10 lunches for our skilled construction leaders and homeowners in process in addition to your volunteer group. The workday will conclude with clean-up of the site by 3:00PM.
Volunteers should dress appropriately for a construction site (no open toe shoes). Habitat will provide tools, although many workers like to bring their favorites (no power tools please). Please remember to either provide or ask volunteers to provide drinks and snacks should they choose. It is important to remain hydrated throughout the day.
