There are a variety of ways to volunteer with our affiliate as a group or an individual.

Individual volunteer opportunities are available across all areas of our affiliate operations – construction, ReStore, office and committees. Please complete the simple online volunteer registration form below. Registering as a volunteer allows you to indicate your volunteer preferences/availability and provides online access to view and sign up for open volunteer opportunities (online viewing of volunteer opportunities is currently being updated to a new platform and notification will be provided when this function is available).
This online registration form completes the volunteer registration process as outlined in the Volunteer Handbook & Policy Manual. If you complete this online form, you do not need to submit the forms contained in the Volunteer Handbook & Policy Manual. As a registered volunteer, you will receive affiliate updates and requests for volunteers related to your indicated preferences.
Release & Waiver of Liability Forms
Habitat for Humanity of York County volunteers must complete a Release and Waiver of Liability Form in order to participate with the affiliate in any capacity. (Clicking yes below in the online registration form meets this requirement.)
Volunteers must be at least 16 years old to volunteer with our organization on the construction site or in the ReStore. For all volunteers under the age of 18, a parent/legal guardian is required to complete and submit the Release & Waiver of Liability Form prior to the volunteer event in order for a minor to participate in HFHYC volunteer activities.
