ReStore Donations

When you donate new or gently-used items to a Habitat ReStore, you’re making affordable homeownership a reality, and you’re also keeping perfectly usable items from needlessly going to waste in a landfill. Construction In-Kind Donations

Donations of new building materials can be made to Habitat of York County construction initiatives. Donations can also be made to Habitat of York County in the form of professional services required on construction sites, such as masonry, HVAC installation, electrical wiring, plumbing and more.

Cars for Homes

Vehicle donations are another way to support Habitat of York County’s mission! It’s quick and easy to donate your old car, truck, boat, motorcycle and more – whether they run or not! Vehicle donations may be eligible for tax deduction if you itemize (consult a tax advisor or the IRS).

Matching Gifts

Many employers will match tax-deductible charitable contributions made by their employees, retirees and employees’ spouses. Contact your company’s HR department for specific matching gift options. If you have completed a matching gift form, please include it with your gift to Habitat of York County at the mailing address, e-mail the form to donate@yorkcountyhabitat.org or fax the form to 803.327.5522.

Memorial/Honor Gifts

Habitat of York County provides donor opportunities to make honorarium and memorial gifts and will send a notification letter to the individual of your choice. You may indicate Honor or Memorial Gifts on your donation form.
