Since 1987, Habitat of York County has tithed over $4 million to sister affiliates overseas, enabling construction of more than 1,350 homes for low-income families in need. Habitat for Humanity of Romania has been the sole recipient of international tithe and building support since 1993.
In 2017, Habitat of York County’s Board of Directors voted to add a second international partnership: Habitat for Humanity of Malawi.
Each year, 10% of all of Habitat of York County’s unrestricted income goes to the organization’s International Partners.
